Weimin is professor of philosophy and the Director of the China Institute at California State University - Northridge. His research is primarily focused on interpretations of probability, Chinese philosophy, the history of science (including the history of early Chinese Science), and particular issues in the philosophy of science and philosophy of biology. Other interests include the philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, and early modern philosophy.
Weimin holds a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut and earned his M.A. and B.A. from Beijing University.
